Time to start making some goals for 2015! Some of you already know about my exploring trip this past September in Colorado checking out some great trail around Silverton. I'd like to take a small group there this August to see some of the places I went. You can see some pictures of the trip at: fourwheelfriends.boards.net/thread/380/current-trip-colorado-highBefore I set a date in August, if there is any who would like to come but certain dates in August wouldn't work, now's the time to let me know. Hey everybody! I would love to meet you guys there, since you will be in my neck of the woods...so to speak. Early August would be best for me. Sam probably wouldn't be able to go because of work, but Molly might want to go if it is before she has to go back to school. Looking forward to seeing those that can make it!

Colorado trip status report:
From what I can gather at this point........the following have told me they are coming:
Me in the 2012 Jeep JK with Mina
Murrie - 1998 Jeep Cherokee with Caleb (son)
Carl Freeman - 1995 Jeep Cherokee with Yvonne Noble as passenger
Rudi Wiens - 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee with friend coming from Russia and possibly Anni Wiens (wife)
Roz - 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 Pickup with wife, Susanna
Jessica Taylor - 2014 Toyota 4-Runner
Dane Horak - 2005 Toyota Tundra
Those who has expressed an interest but haven't told me their coming yet......
Jason Bonilla - 1995 Jeep Cherokee
Kevin Johnson - Not sure what he is wheeling now
So since we're less than 45 days from the trip....I need to firm up the team and start assigning group equipment. So last chance to let me know your coming.

I just requested this week off. I'll have to discuss it with my family, but we may try to make this trip.
This would be dependent on Kathy's continued health and we might make a trip to the family cabin in Fairplay for a few days also. If that is the case I expect we'd join the group for the first half, then split off and head north for a few days returning home via Utah and the north route.

Hi Fred,
I am startiing to put a menu together for the trip and wanted to know if there will be time for a breakfast of pancakes and eggs any time during the trip or will it be a quick one and breaking camp quickly?

I am on summer break so should be able to work on them more. I would do my usual shorter trip so I don't know how much I factor in to the gear distribution.
