I'm floating the idea of another training and skills improvement day. We've had a large influx of newer Forum members and I'm wondering if there would be a desire to have a day trip were beginners, intermediate and some of you well experienced ones would like to improve or sharpen your skills off roading. I would recruit some of you to help as I can only be helping a few at a time. Hungry Valley OHV in the past has been our place of choice for these sessions. These training sessions have been free in the past and I would want to continue on this basis. I need to know whop wants to come and if I don't have personal wheeling experience with you, I will PM you to get some idea what you are looking for, your skill level and the vehicle you will be bringing. Thanks, Fred Explorer 1

Will do, I think it would be a good experience for you. Once I see who else is interested, I'll contact you and see what particulars you want to work on and which date works for you.
Thanks, Fred Explorer 1

Guys, I am proposing the date of Saturday, May 4th. Planning on getting together and set dates for other trips in 2019. Planning on grilling out there. Bring your own drinks and approximately $5 to help pay for the food. Also, since we are planning having a full lunch there, I suggest everyone come having already eaten breakfast. We typically have breakfast at Denny’s on the way, I don’t plan on doing that. Let me know your thoughts on this.

Since we won’t be stopping at Denny for the usual lengthy breakfast, we can meet at the McDonalds located at 49714 Gorman School Rd, Gorman, CA 93243. If there is no traffic, we should be there around 7:30. We will then leaver here at approximately 8am. The Hungry Valley OHV area is the next exit.

There is one in Castaic, and it would be faster than dining at Denny's.

Fred,
I am in with the Baboon, now renamed Quinton, and Caleb. Also, Rachel and the 2000 XJ should be coming.

Fernando,
Wes and the JK AEV will be coming also. So my group is Rachel in the yellow xj, Caleb and friend in the Baboon, and me driving the baboon to make 5. I have one handheld Ham and Wes has a mounted ham. Wes also has a handheld but gave the antenna to Fred on our last trip so if someone has a spare antenna please bring it.
