Hello everyone. After looking under my Jeep and watching what happened to Murrie's jeep on the last trip-I have decided to invest in getting new front lower control arms and a stronger steering Tie rod. So there are a number of products out there that range in price from $475 to $160. Looking at various products I was leaning toward:
Rugged Ridge Front Control Arm Kit - 18415.71 or
Rubicon Express Control Arm Front Fixed Lower Super-Ride TJ/LJ/XJ/MJ/ZJ/ Pair - RE3705
For the steering rod I was looking at:
Rugged Ridge Heavy-Duty Tie Rod - 18050.51
Does anyone have any suggestions or opinions? I welcome your thoughts.
My Jeep is 1995 Jeep XJ with a 3" lift, Dana 30 front axle.
Carl

Get both the drag link and the tie rod as a kit, don't just replace one.

You might go ahead and get the ZJ V8 tie rod and drag link, either new or pick one up at he junk yard.
