Save dates Feb 22- March 1st for the mountain bike scouting trip in Utah.
We will be checking out the trail and possible camping sites for the actual koko III trip in Oct 2018.
Thanks, Fred Explorer 1

Fred,
You are assuming Marines can read! 99% of their enlistment papers are signed with an X the other 1% is illegible. Of course NAVY means Never Again Volunteer Yourself, so maybe between these two branches of the NAVY, our average intelligence quotient is a little low, we are still fun to have along and we do not drull.

Ok, after meeting with Mark we has secured the firm dates of the Koko III scouting trip.
We will leave Thursday early afternoon February 22 and be back no later than March 1st ( Most likely earlier)
We will explore the area south of Moab Utah ending up around Hite Utah on the Colorado River. This is where Lake Powell begins.
The purpose of the trip is for Mark to see some of the Hayduke MTB trail and get a sense of the terrain and an idea of where we will be camping in the actual trip with the bikers we're taking in Oct 2018.
Let me know if you are coming with me on the scouting trip. I'll then give you some more details.
Thanks, Fred Explorer 1
