Since we're almost done and ready to sell Bob, I made a list of what has been done to Bob since we brought him:
1989 Jeep Cherokee Laredo 4wd, 4dr
Inline 6 cylinder 4.0
AW-4 automatic transmission with overdrive
NP 231 Transfer Case
High Pinion Dana 30 front axle with ZJ V8 axles
Non “C” clip Dana 35 rear axle
1. Replace brake master cylinder
2. Check both front and rear brake pads and shoes for at least 75% left
3. Bleed all brake lines replace with Dot 3 fluid
4. New rear brake drums, primed and painted with high temp. Black paint
5. Service front and rear diffs. with GL-5 75-140 fluid
6. Replace rear axle brake line “T”
7. Remove rear axle plastic breather connector, replace with threaded brass nipple
8. Custom 3” lift rear leaf springs pack
9. 1” rear axle lift block
10. Ford F-150 rear shock
11. Remove and replace both sides rear axle seals, bearings and retainer rings
12. Clean and paint rear axle housings
13. New extended rear bumps stops
14. Install extended length rear body to axle brake line
15. Install 3” lift front springs (Jeep ZJ V8 3” lift springs)
16. Old Man Emu heavy duty front 3”lift Shocks
17. New front Uni-Bearings installed, both sides
18. Remove faulty 3 piece front axle and replace with Jeep ZJ V8 axles
19. Replace both inner front axle seals
20. Clean and paint front axle housings
21. Cap and replace leaky vacuum lines
22. Install 1” drop down transfer case spacers
23. Install extended front bump stops
24. Install 4 wheel adapters for 5x5 bolt pattern
25. 5 – 255/75/17 BF Goodrich Mud Terrain tires and rims (32/10.50)
26. Install new Magna-flow Muffler
27. Complete tune up – Plugs, rotor, cap, Oil change, Oil filter, Air Filter.
28. Check both Transmission and Transfer Case for new clear red fluid
29. Repair slider on front seat
30. Replace broken driver door tension spring and stop
31. Shampoo carpets and stains on seats.
32. Clean engine compartment
33. New ignition coil
34. New O2 sensor
35. New gas pressure Regulator
Parts cost for the above was $1,748.85.
No labor cost of any kind are included.
