First we took two leaf packs and combined them into a 3+ inch rear leaf lift. Installed with longer "U" bolts and longer shocks (the shocks should be here early next week) I found that F-150 4x4 shocks are the right length for a 3-5 inch rear lift on a XJ, so I ordered "truck" shocks for the rear. Also found out that a stock 1995 YJ rear brake line is equal to a 3" lift brake line for a XJ. This way we meet the modification but without spending "modified" part prices. Here is the Bob with the front & rear lift and the new tires and rims. This is really shaping up to not only be a good running vehicle but a good looking off road vehicle. We're still weeks away from having it finished, but if you know someone that wants this model of Jeep that has been garaged in California and is rust free, have them contact me. Once finished I think it will go quickly. Thanks, Fred Explorer 1
