Since last report the following was done with "Bob" or 1989 Jeep XJ.
1. New brake master cylinder installed 2. Jeep Cherokee vacuum activated front axle 4wd system eliminated. Both front axles replaced, 3 piece axle system removed. New inner seals, both uni-bearing replaced, axle tubes cleaned out and new diff fluid installed. 3. 3" lift front springs installed along with new extended upper bump stops. 4. Degreased and power washed engine compartment.
This was a first time for me replacing the older XJ vacuum activated front 4wd system, learned a few things along the way.
Thanks all for now, maybe Bob will be ready for the Cleghorn day trip Sept 16th.
Thanks to Ryan, Fernando, Carl, Cat and Roz for their help.
