Carl,
I need you to carry the group cook kit.
It is the army green aluminum case that have all our pots, pans and a grill.
Let me know when you can come and get it.
Murrie, with Carl carrying the cook kit you won't need to bring you grill or griddle. The only thing you might want to bring is your series of large aluminum pots in care your doing spaghetti or something that requires a large pot.
CARL, Let me know you received this message ASAP.
Thanks, Fred

With this being a Spring trip in the high elevations and with all the recent sunshine we can expect some small buzzing visitors each dusk around the campfire. Each of you might want to being some repellant with DEETS. I'm bringing my mosquito net that fits over my head just in case.
Our journey to the high country will take us through some pretty hot low country first. Las Vegas high Thursday will be 114 and 112 Friday. You can expect triple digits once you climb Cajon pass all the way to Hurricane which is suppose to be 104 on Friday.
Cedar city high Friday will be 95 but will drop down to mid 50's at night. Up the mountain where I'll be spending the night Friday night will be in the high 40's (perfect sleeping temps). Hope Carl has a good A/C unit at his place.
Also, best to check your vehicle engine cooling system and A/C now, not when it fails in such heat.
The good news is that the temps I will be enjoying Friday night are more typical of what we'll be exploring through!
Thanks, Fred Explorer 1
