As many of you know we have purchased Jeeps in the past as learning tools and projects to try out new improvement.
Our current project vehicle is a 1993 Jeep Grand Cherokee (ZJ) with 188,000 miles. You can learn more about it at this link:

We have already started improving and servicing this new vehicle. Saturday December 19th we will install the 2 1/4" lift along with the new Shocks, off a new Jeep Rubicon, we purchased.
Dan Eitzen will be driving this vehicle during the project months and paying for the insurance and usual service upkeep. He may decided to exercise his right as an owner to keep the vehicle when we're finished with it sometime on late March 2016. If he does not, ten any other owner has first right of ownership to buy for them selves this vehicle for the at cost amount. They can't buy it for this price and then turn around and sell it for a profit, they have to buy it for their personal use. If at the end of Dan's use no other owner wants it we will ten sell it for the highest price we can. When were done with the training and improving the ZJ it is an well prepared vehicle and we're able to prove to any buyer all that has been done to make it a excellent used car.
Any profit made is divided between the owners equally based on what portion they have paid.
Owners are asked to participate in the improvement project by attending the Thursday night shop when we do the repairs/servicing and upgrades.
At this point I believe we can make all the upgrades servicing for about $3,000 including the original purchasing of the vehicle.
Some of the upgrades included in this price are a 2 1/4 lift, including shocks, quick disconnects, bump stops, larger off road tires, rear bumper with spare tire holder and rock sliders. The ZJ already has a good transfer case skid plate and a good gas tank skid plate. It should be an attractive capable off road vehicle when we're through. Any owner will also gain form the knowledge of these improvements so they will be more apt and capable to make these on their owner vehicle.
We are "selling" 15 "shares" at $200.00 a piece. For now there are just 5 shares available. Let me know if your interested and I'll answer your questions and discuss the expectations.
Thanks,
Fred
