Thought it might be an idea to make a Thread apart from the announcement on when were having Thursday night shop. This Thread will be for a continuous run of pictures of what we are doing and have done in the past on Thursday nights. Those who come can remember and feel a sense of accomplishment, and those who haven't can see what their missing:
I wanted to start with this picture I took of Fern last night he's removing some bent metal on his gas tank......as we always say "Safety First"!
On our last trip, Pleasant Canyon/Goler Wash two of our three "project vehicles" participated. Interesting enough, they were the only two that had no damage or running issues the entire trip.......
Here is a picture of our first project:
1995 Jeep Cherokee purchase price $300.00. originally sold to Rudi Wiens and then years later sold to Carl Freeman.
Our second project was a 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee, purchased price $700.00, later sold to a marine living in Utah
Our most recent was a 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee we purchased for $711.00, Rudi Wiens decided to buy this one and sell his prior project car to Carl Freeman.
Honorable mention would also be Fernando's Grand Cherokee and Murrie's Smurfmobile. While these weren't project cars owned by the group, the amount of Thursday night hours spend them makes them in the Honorable mention category.
