not sure when we are looking to get tires for the grand, but i found these for sale and they seem like an okay deal. they are lesser aggressive all terrains but for possibly less than $100 a tire it might be worth it? what does the group think? the ad is here: naxja.org/forum/showthread.php?t=1092718 |

I went and found a spare tire for the Grand. Seems the tire size it currently has isn't a very popular one. Finally found one which I got for $20.00. When they went to balance it they noted a crack on the inside of the rim, must have been from when Rafe did his number on the Mojave river trail. They said they couldn't balance it because the dent caused a small flat spot. The good news was that it doesn't leak air.
Not sure what tire size will fit without any lift or if we need a little lift for 31's.
I would like to figure out the stall problem first, then figure what lift and tire size we will go with before we purchase tires. I have no idea how long or how much $$ it will take to fix the stall problem so I hesitate obligating the other owners to some new tires.

I agree with Fred, we have issues to clear up before we concern ourselves with lifts or tires.
