Here is another good one our way to clear lake and a night of rain: Clear lake was another wonder! Here is the pond just below the lake in the morning: Thanks, Fred Explorer 1

After Stoney Pass we made our way down a trail I had never driven before. I prematurely went out of 4wd way to early after the pass and we all had some small challenges on this trail. From Lake city ( never saw any lake!) we were heading west again over Engineer Pass: Just over the top we came across these complete with several sheep dogs near OH Point. Thanks, Fred Explorer 1

Different ways of crossing a stream............ First we have the more conservative method: Then we have the " let's make this a fun one" method: Thanks, Fred Explorer 1

How that creek crossing looked like in "motion". It was a fun one! Thanks, Fred Explorer 1

The toughest trail for the week was the Poughkeepsie Gulch trail. It has one section nicknamed the "wall" that I had tried last year when I did the trail solo and had to use my winch as I had no one to spot for me. This time we had three who tried, Jessica, Dane and myself. With someone to spot for me after I told them where I wanted my tires it was not that difficult of a climb. You can get some idea of what it's like on the two youtube links. There's even a full size newer crew cab that does it with the help of his winch. Then you can see how proper traction, balance and wheel placement makes it "look easy". Come on Fred we know you put that Dodge on there for me to see. That guy was an idiot and gave up way to easy before he pulled out his winch. Me and the Beast would have taken that hill lol
