Nice looking trailer. What's it constructed out of?

I built it out of wood, and fastened to the frame with carriage bolts. The main body is 3/4" Marine plywood, reinforced with 2X4, and 2X2 doug fir. I originally found this trailer all shot up by the military, out in the "Bradshaw Trail" area. I stripped out the shot up steel, and sold that to buy the Plywood, and bolts to start with. As you may have guessed, it is a work in progress. Since that pic, I have put reinforced 2X2 and steel braces around the fenders, fiberglassed those in, and added a gas can mount, and a 5 gal military "Jerry Can". The tires are to be my next project, as their date of manufactuer is somewhere near 1974!!! They still hold air, and although they are 8 ply bias plys, they are really showing the desert degradation from ultra violet. I just have to get an interchange from the 700X16's to a modern size bias ply tires. I have towed this beat all across the Mojave Desert, from Barstow, to Nipton, and all over the El Paso Mtns and Red Rock Cyn, as well as to Los Padres, and even to Pismo!

The leaf springs under your trailer are amazing. How many leafs do they have? They look like some high end custom Deaver springs some guys have under their jeeps and trucks. Your trailer would probably ride better than my old YJ.

There are 11 leaves, and they came this way when I rescued the beast. It does tow really well, since with my 4 popper, you don't need much to slow you down! LOL!! Next time we do the "Road", I may bring this, and see if I can drag it through the deep sand in the Devils Playground, as well as from Avi to Fort Piute.

Hey! Very nice of you to post my picture. You did a good job of composition! Sorry about the crooked road light though. It has since been tightened, and reaimed
