A good friend of mine suggested a trip to Ocotillo Wells. He says there is a ton of Jeep trails at Ocotillo to explore. Room to camp as well. Worth considering for sure.

Anza Borrego area is really nice. I went with the family on Easter weekend about 4 years ago. It was really weird when we realized it was the first Easter we could remember not being in church. The beauty of Gods creation was everywhere though. We saw Springs rebirth through dozens of different tiny wildflowers. I'd like to do the four wheeler version.

Some of this looks like Coyote Canyon and some doesn't, what trail or trails did you take?

The Squeeze, on Pinyon Canyon
2nd or third crossing, lower Coyote Canyon
Upper and inner Sandstone Canyon
Pumpkin Patch, Oct. Wells OHV area
Mud Caves off Diablo Canyon
Oct. Well Country Club

Thanks Fred, I like the captions.
I am hoping to get back to this area soon, although I don't think my Bronco will fit through the squeeze, might have to find a way around.

A good friend of mine suggested a trip to Ocotillo Wells. He says there is a ton of Jeep trails at Ocotillo to explore. Room to camp as well. Worth considering for sure. And then there is Ocotillo, just south of Anza Borrego. BLM land. Camping, 4-wheelin'. Coyote Mountain, Painted Gorge, Old Overland Stage route. Just north-east of that is Superstition Mountain, also BLM (sand dunes). And north of that Fish Creek Thru Split Mountain to many A-B washes. North of fish creek is Ocotillo Wells OHV open use area. Love that area, especially Agua Caliente County RV park adjacent to A-B on S2. RandyP
