This has been waiting for quite some time (years) for me to deal with. Since Explorer 1 is disabled with fuel pump and lifter problems, why not take this time to address the leaking pinion seal on the Currie front axle. It have leaked since I first installed it and filled the diff with oil. I called Currie and they sent me a new seal which I installed but it still leaks. In order to have them look at it I need to remove the "3rd Member" (the inner diff. part) and take it to them to look at. It's a bit of a job and with my RCV axles it's a little bit different than I've done before. However, with a lift it's sure makes getting to it much easier even if it takes a bit of work to get it out. Here it is ready for me to drive out to Currie Monday. Cool RCV Axles: Thanks, Fred Explorer 1 P.S. The new fuel pump should be in Monday or Tuesday.

Did Curry solve the problem for you? What else do you need to do to get the XJ rolling again? Is there still a problem with the motor....lifter or something?
