I'm in the midst of a coolant system refresh and the transmission cooling lines are giving me the pip. The hoses rotted away on my 1990 XJ so I'm trying to decide best way to connect them to the new radiator. But then I read a recommendation to install an aftermarket external transmission cooling radiator. But I don't even know where I'd mount it. In front of the engine radiator or behind? Or under the Jeep? Or is the little transmission cooler integrated into the main radiator just fine?
