Hello, kind ladies and gents,
It is time for me to share this exciting news on the forum. I am competing in this year's Rebelle Rally. It is the long off-road competitive rally in the US, and it just so happens to only be for women.
It is 10 days long (Oct 12-21) and covers about 2,500 km of California and Nevada deserts. This year, it starts in Mammoth Lakes and ends somewhere near the Mexico border.
NO GPS is allowed. We are given coordinates and a brief each morning, and we must use only a compass and a map to reach each checkpoint to score our points for each day.
My teammate and I are taking her 2016 4Runner as our "3rd teammate". To register for the rally alone is $14,950. Yes, you read that right....this is a MASSIVE event and it costs an arm and a leg to compete in it.
We ran a crowdfunding campaign and raised $3,643.
We have been sending out emails and showing up on social media as often as possible to share our story.
I designed a logo, and we made t-shirts, stickers, and patches to sell, and we're still asking for financial help from anyone. We'd love your support in ANY form possible. If you're interested in donating to support us and help make the blow of this event financially hurt a little less AND to be a part of helping us reach this bucket list dream, go to the link >>HERE<<

We have been working hard to get sponsorships. We have C4 Fabrication, autoTECH Blackhawk, Deepsleep, and Kula Cloth, so far. It looks like we'll have ProEagle and anyone else who wants to help support us and get extra exposure in these last few weeks. Do you know of a business that would want to be a part of this? Send them >>HERE<<. It's a GREAT opportunity for visibility!
Anyways, thank you guys (and gals) for taking the time to read this. This might be one of the most daunting things I've done in my life.
