Mina and I are leading a small group of photographers and artists out to Little Finland in the "Nevada Strip" just south of Mesquite NV.
We're opening it up to nay who want to come out for a short visit to this remarkable place.
There will be an RV optional camping place at Whitney Pockets for those so inclined, the rest can come and cam right at Little Finland.
The plan is to leave Friday morning arriving there Friday afternoon, spend Saturday exploring Little Finland and then Sunday after Breakfast make our way back home.
Let me know if your interested. I'm taking the Tundra with the 4WD Camper.

Greetings off roaders!
Just a few days away from the Little Finland trip!
As of this writing we have the following who have confirmed they are coming:
Fred & Mina Taylor
Ed Morsey
Devin & Rivers Dailey
Ryan Javier
Bodie Garside
Wayne Purcell
Mike Livingston
Others have expressed interest, but as of yet I have no confirmation.
For those interested, Mina and I will be leaving the Ralphs Market paring lot, located at the corner of Whittier Blvd and Colima, promptly at 8 am on Friday morning. I will be driving my White Toyota Tundra carrying my 4WD camper.
If you want to travel along with us be sure to be there before 8 am with a full tank of gas and reading to go.
My route will be to take Colima over the Whittier Hills and then Hacienda to the Pomona Frwy (60). From their we will travel east. I will most likely take the 57 to the 210 and the 210 to the I-15 north.
I will stop in Barstow at the junction of Hwy 247 (Just before the I-15 & I-40 Junction) for gas at the Valero station.
From here we will continue north on the I-15 toward Las Vegas. We should be able to go all the way to Vegas and then stop for lunch at the In & Out Burger.
Our next stop will be at the Moapa Indian gas station for our final fuel up before we exit I-15 for Gold Butte National Monument and Little Finland.

We should arrive at little Finland in the mid to later afternoon.
You should plan the following meals at our campsite. Friday dinner - Sunday breakfast
Please bring one box of nail and screw free firewood. I will be bringing a grill along with utensils for cooking over a wood fire.
Our camp at Little Finland will be wilderness dry camping, no facilities of any kind are provided. It will be similar to back packing camping.
Sunday after breakfast, we will pack up and head for home.
Weather should be good with no rain the the forecast and temps from the upper 30's to the lower 60's.
