Well it look like it'd finally going to happen.
Before I get too old for this kind of stuff, I'm taking the XJ on t he Rubicon Trail.
After talking with some of the Thursday night guys who are interested, I've decided to make a week of it so two small groups can go.
Group one will leave Monday Sept 12th and travel up Hwy 395, spending the night out somewhere north of Bridgeport, arriving at the Loon Lake trailhead Tuesday afternoon.
Our original trip dates are the 17th-20th and I'll be back at Loon lake by the morning of the 17th to meet those others wanting to do the trail using our original dates, hopefully I'll have a better grasp of the trail for the second group.
My understanding is that Rudi and Murrie will be traveling up with me and do the trail in the first group. They both we're able to make the 17th - 20th date. SO they'll be leaving and possibly passing the second group as they travel up Hwy 395.
I need to know who will be in the second group and what dates work for them within the 17-20th dates. I'll already be up there, so we will all need to coordinate the drive up so me can meet around Loon Lake.
Once the commitment is made to go, we'll make our own text group to communicate the details.
