Looks like its going to be a lonely trip with just Mina and I.

I plan on coming along with my son-in-law, Mike Hurrin. He'll be driving his 2006 Grand Cherokee Overland, 3" lift on 31's, sliders.

We'll be leaving the Ralphs parking lot at 5 am on Friday morning.
SO far it looks like 6-7 vehicles.

Mike and I will be leaving Oceanside at 4 am and meeting up with the group over the Cajon Pass. What about logistics, same as usual, each car bring a load of firewood, breakfast/gas stop in Victorville or Barstow? What about communal meals like the big breakfast, is that in the plan?

I will not be going this year after all. The Elders have called scheduled an Elder Coffee on Sunday at 11:00 am to allow discussion for next years budget and I am the Representative to the Finance Committee and also to allow discussion on a church family matter I am deeply involved with.

Each vehicle should bring one box of wood for the 2 breakfast and 2 dinner fires.
If you need some wood bring your box to my house and I'll give you some.

Do you want me to bring an extra hand radio? MayDayMike This will be the usual trip, nothing new ( at least I'm not planning on it!) We'll start next to the Colorado River and proceed west. Staying at our camp site in the New York Mountains and the next evening at Shaw Pass. Fireworks and guns options as you desire. Shouldn't be any need for extra gas or the extra radio.
