The Heartbreak Ridge trip went so well, we're doing another trail with the same plan of offering a overnight stay on my property "The Oaks" Saturday night after the trail. June 6th is the planned date, we'll do Gold mountain and perhaps another nearby trail depending on our progress. Then those who want to, can come on over and camp next to the river at the "Oaks". We'll have a campfire and cook out Saturday night then those who stayed can leave for home Sunday morning. This trip is open to all including family and friends. This will also be a "Corona Free zone" trip so no masks and no social distancing, if your sick or insecure with this , stay home. Let me know if your coming, Thanks, Fred Explorer 1

For those interested, we will be going both up and down this trail, meaning we will take it both directions.
Sorry, I don't have much of nay pictures. This trail is a little bit harder than Heartbreak Ridge and considered less hard than Dishpan and Holcomb creek.
Thanks, Fred Explorer 1

I'll be going up Friday around noon, beating the traffic and will meet whomever is coming at The Oaks restaurant/store at Angelus Oaks at 7 am. We will then leave Angelus Oaks at 7:1 and head over to Gold Mountain. After doing Gold Mountain both directions, and if time permits, we'll take a "short cut" back to my place following the old Rim of the World drive over Clark Ridge. This trail comes right down against the top of my property, those who want to spend the night at my place on the River camping, all other will follow the trail back to Hwy 38 and head for home.
If you plan on staying at my place either Friday night or Saturday night let me know.
Thanks, Fred Explorer 1

If your coming up with me , I'll be stopping at Stater Bro's for my steak dinner, and I'll also be fueling up before climbing the mountain.
Friday and Saturday nights will be cooler, which will be a nice change from what we've been having the last couple of days.
Thanks, Fred
