Noticed that my Tacoma's rear bumper was a bit uneven, and the last trip up to my place in the mountains driving the dirt road in I heard a clanking or clunking sound that didn't seem usual. I guess all the loads up the hill with my trailer has been a bit too much for the Taco! These are the brackets that hold the bumper to the frame, I also don't think those holes came elongated like that! This is one of the welds that hold the bracket to the bumper. Looks like I get to do some more welding. Thanks, Fred Explorer 1

Wow! That's crazy! Imagine if that ripped off with the trailer!!! That'd make for a bad day for sure.

Especially when I realize that the safety chains were also attached to the same bumper......on the mountain roads or the freeway it could have been really ugly!

Fixed and reinforced right! It was fun to get back to some welding, especially on my own vehicle! Thanks, Fred Explorer 1
