As luck would have it, I'm in SoCal with the JK. This was a last minute trip planned 4 hours before I left Colorado so I don't have any camping gear besides a cooler. Cody is going to help me out with the cooking situation every day but Friday. If nothing crazy happens, I'm going on the trip. Is anyone willing to help me out on Friday with cooking supplies? I also don't have any firewood but will have room to carry some if anyone has extra wood.
I'll be meeting everyone at Ralphs, doing the trip, then leaving Afton Canyon for Colorado.

For those traveling with me from Whittier, Again, we leave at 5 am sharp. Starbucks, across the street opens at 4:30 am and there is a Chevron next door to Ralphs.
We will again fill up at the food for less in Barstow just before the I40/I15 split. Then our final fuel up for the trip at AVI Casino next to the Colorado River.
Breakfasts at Denny's at the Lynwood exit just before Barstow.
The number of people and vehicles going has changed several with some dropping out and additions. I guess we'll know when we arrive at AVI and will divide into group accordingly.

Fred, me and Jack are excited for the trip (or I am anyway) but not sure our passengers are going to make it - 1 JK with 2 occupants confirmed.

There is a slight chance that we may catch some light showers Saturday evening at Shaw Pass, so best to be prepared.

Mike injured has back playing paddle ball today and may not make the trip. I have extra eating utensils for Jim in my stacking set that I bring. I still am expecting my friend Wes to be coming with his Dad. I know Carl probably will not be coming also.

Do you need a sleeping bag?
