Howdy All, I was hoping to make reservations to use the lift this Thursday. My front driveshaft decided it wasn't going to play along on my adventures anymore so I have a new one that should be here Thursday. I actually have to switch yokes on both the front axle and the t-case. It's hopefully not going to be a huge job, but I will need to take preload measurements on the front axle before I start. Fred, if I remember correctly you have an inch pound torque wrench. Can I use it for this project please? If all goes according to plan, I might also tackle a drag link flip and a raised front track bar bracket on the same night. That requires the drilling of a 7/8'' hole so it's not exactly a walk in the park either. Anywho, thanks everyone. Jim |

Fred, I'm glad to see everything back in place. You've been dealing with the front of that van for a long time. Hopefully this will be the end of it. I had a 7/8" drill bit, but I gave it to a friend to sharpen for me and I still haven't gotten it back. I'm going to have to skip on drilling the knuckle tonight I guess. On a side note, a jig and the mill would be amazing, but I'd have to pull the passenger knuckle off of the Jeep. Basically, I'm drilling out the axle end hole for the drag link and moving the drag link to the top of the knuckle.
