Wow great pictures of some great country! You've been over a lot of high and lonely looking passes, what's the highest point so far? Seeing many other explorers?

Took a side trip to check out the Kokopelli Trail some of us are going to take in the end of Oct to support some mountain bikers. There was this other side trail I decided to take that ended being much harder than I expected, its the Rim of the World trail, took a lot longer and a lot more fuel than I anticipated, it was a 1 1/2 hour crawl there. Here are a few pics of what is found at trails end.     When I was about to leave along came this slightly raised Power Wagon with a Cummins Diesel, I couldn't believe it made the long crawl! Hey Fern, I'm in Steamboat Springs Colorado right now, Tomorrow Mina and I head for Denver to visit one of my other daughters and then we start back home to Thursday night shops and high quality pizza's and cola! Once he decides, I'll help him with getting them on the vehicle and finalize the transaction. I told him that instead of suggesting he get new tires, I recommend it. The ones on there are not good. He was impressed with it. |
