Its looking better and better. This Thursday July 11th, Matt Johnston is bringing over his jeep wrangler for a suspension change out. 4 sets of leaf springs and 4 shock absorbers, I know Ryan is planning on resuspending and lowering his volvo however macpherson struts can be tricky and dangerous for the unfamiliar. With enough hands on deck we should be able to accomplish both tasks. I've done the Jeep respring myself, albeit about 20 plus years ago on my Jeep and a 4X4 chev truck. It should be pretty straight forward. See you all Thursday!

The one on the left is on, waiting installation on the taller. Seems that on each step I have to wait on the installers. I did find out that the bricks will get grouted this Friday am so at least this week I'll see some more progress. See you Thursday, Fred By the way Matt, the spell check feature isn't working!

By the way Matt, the spell check feature isn't working! i didnt know this place had a spell check feature usually that happens within your internet browser. im running Google Chrome and everything i type no matter on what page goes through spell check. i would check your browser settings, or at the bottom of the page where you write a post there is a "spell check" button you can press. the spell check button does not exist in the quick reply area though

Ready for some nerdiness? Concrete is porous and is not completely cured for decades..... When you put a non porous coating over a porous substrate, the effect will be either bubbles or craters. The trick is to apply the coating at a time of equilibrium so that the concrete is neither sucking nor blowing. Imagine outing a plastic Baggie on one side of a damp sponge. When you squeeze the sponge, it blows bubbles. When you let the sponge dry out, it will be harder to squeeze...... For the main reason, the epoxy was applied to a freshly poured concrete floor (less than 6 months old) that was either heating or cooling during the time of application and not in equilibrium. The easiest way to fix this is to sand the bubbles down, then fill with epoxy after the warmest part of the day preferably once the slab has nearly reached the equilibrium. Then if you wang to add another coat over the bubble less floor to make it look nicer, you can.
